ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Dr. Fahmida Mirza has summoned meeting of 17-member special parliamentary committee formed by her to mull over lawlessness in Karachi on September 6.
The session will elect its chairman and hammer out committee’s modus operandi and rules and regulations during the proposed meeting.
The Committee, reviewing the causes of violence in the city within two months, will table its recommendations for peace in the city.
Also, law-enforcers and secret agencies will brief the committee over those responsible for lawlessness in the city Online
