Astrologers should stop predicting downfall of govt: PM Gilani

ISLAMABAD/MURREE: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that astrologers, Psychics and fortune tellers should stop prediction of down fall of the government and PPP would emerge as a victorious in the next senate elections.
Addressing the unveiling of the plaque of the four-lane 50 km long RS 12 billion winding Islamabad-Murree Expressway Prime Minister said that opponents of PPP want downfall of govt before the senate elections and are adopting unconstitutional means for ending the democratic regime but we will emerge as victorious party in the next senate elections
PPP is a party of martyrs and it has its roots in the entire world. PPP has given enormous sacrifices for upholding of the constitution. He said we have not come through back doors but were elected by the people of this country and our roots lie in the people of this country.
PM said that PPP worker would never bow before anyone or would be sold out. He said that Benazir Bhutto returned to the country for the people
He said that we are striving to bring this country out of its challenges and our party has given numerous sacrifices for the people of this country, which cannot be forgotten. He said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto stood steadfast before the doctorial rule.
He said that PPP would continue public development projects and on the occasion also announced inauguration of Grid station in Kotli Sattian, provision of gas and construction of road from Lower Topa till Kotla, sweet homes for children AND establishment of Technical college
The Expressway would divide the traffic burden on the older route to Murree.
The Expressway has been constructed along a new alignment in the hilly terrain by the Pakistani engineers. Special considerations for structural design have been kept in view to check landslides and to make the travel safe. Two phases of the Expressway that will eventually link Islamabad to the capital of AJK-Muzaffarabad have been completed. In the third phase, the existing road will be widened and upgraded from Lower Topa to Kohala, while in the final phase the section from Kohala to Muzaffarabad would be improved. Online
