ISLAMABAD: The Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation recorded
statements of officers of police administration, intelligence and local
witnesses of the area in Abbottabad on Thursday, says a press
statement.
The Commission comprising Mr. Justice Javed Iqbal,
Former Senior Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and President of
the Commission, Mr. Abbas Khan, I.G. (R), Mr. Ashraf Jehangir Qazi and
Lt. Gen. (R) Nadeem Ahmed members of the Commission continued its
working on third day in Abbottabad on September 15.
The
officers gave perspective of their organizations about the events
regarding Abbottabad operation. The local witnesses also presented
their viewpoint. The Commission also interacted with print/electronic
media regarding the incident, to ascertain their viewpoint.
The
Commission will again visit Abbottabad to record the statements of
remaining witnesses including civilian and media persons who covered
