Rulers do not want to restore peace in Karachi: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has said that the rulers are playing stage drama on Karachi situation to hoodwink the people. Parties in government alliance are behind every gang involved in fighting.
In his statement on Wednesday he said that if once army would enter into narrow and dark streets of Karachi, it could neither stay there nor come out from it. Those who decide to hand over Karachi to army are not well-wishers of armed forces. Karachi would prove a trap for army , which would have the dare consequences for the country as well as Pak army.

“If there would be deemed necessary to give constitutional role to army at Karachi , then it should be discussed in the parliament, which would has to decide in this regard”, Nisar added..
He said that the action at Karachi could be monitored by forming a parliamentary committee as the turmoil is not only a administrative but also political problem. Every political party in the coalition government wants to use his field and give protection to their terrorists.
He said that rangers did not fail in Karachi but as a matter of fact the government was unsuccessful there because it does not want to give authority to rangers and police. He said that the double standards of the political parties included in government made the governance fun, the life of people in Karachi has turn to be miserable.
The PML(N) leader was of the view the politicians have variation in their deed and words as they do not utter even a single words in the party meetings but when the go to the people , they even speak entirely different language. The people of Pakistan especially citizens of Karachi can only mourn on the non seriousness of the rulers who want to find some solution of the city while sitting in Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad.
“Whenever Asif Zardari tangles in any different situation , he use to go Sindh after wearing Sindhi cap and Ajrak to collect the sympathies of the people. But when Sindh province was inundated with flood, or Karachi is burring then he either goes to any foreign trip or stays at Islamabad” Chaudhary Nisar added
He demanded that rangers and police should be given full authority so that they take action against wrongdoers without any fear but for this , the both forces will have to remain far from the shadow of Rehman Malik. Online
