ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday confirmed four
additional judges of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) and three additional
judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Babar said that the additional judges of the LHC who were confirmed
Wednesday included Mr. Justice Sagheer Ahmad Qadri, Mr. Justice Kh.
Imtiaz Ahmed and Mr. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan, says a press
statement.
The four additional judges of the PHC confirmed
Wednesday are Mr. Justice Attaullah Khan, Mr. Justice Miftahuddin Khan,
Mr. Justice Mian Fasihul Mulk and Mr. Justice Mazhar Alam Khan
Miankhel.
Earlier, the Parliamentary Committee on the
appointment of Judges had unanimously endorsed the nomination of these
judges for confirmation by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.
After
the due constitutional process the President acting on the advice of
the Prime Minister accorded his assent Wednesday to confirm them as
Additional Judges of the respective High Courts, he said. Online
