Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said
that those people who are calling army deployment in Karachi are nor
well wishers of army, adding that if the army would enter into the
thick streets of the city it would not be abler to come out again.
He regretted over the thinking of those who are trying to solve the
Karachi while sitting in the presidency, adding that PML-N is thinking
to immediately submit requisition for the National Assembly session
over the Karachi situation.
This he said in a statement issued from here on Wednesday, adding
that on the pretext of improving the situation of Karachi the coalition
partners are indulged in heinous type of plying of drama with the
masses of Karachi.
He said that the problem of Karachi is administrative besides
political because all political party are backing some group of
terrorists.
He said that it may be possible that with the deployment of army in
Karachi subsequently the circumstances would be improved but it would
be disastrous for future of army and the country, adding that if there
is need of deployment of army in Karachi than parliament should be
taken into confidence first and parliament should take decision
regarding the issue.
He said that all the things which are being happened in Karachi are
aimed at gaining more power in government, adding that rangers’ and
police have not failed in the city but the government does not want to
empower these forces for the improvement of the situation.
He said that the present situation has made the circumstances for
the masses very difficult, adding that the rulers in meetings give one
statement and in public another statement, adding that masses of
Karachi particular and masses of country in general could shed tear
over the inability of the government to solve the issues facing by the
country.
Chaudhry Nisar said that it is strange that whenever President
Zardari catches in some political problem he used to wear ajrak and
Sindhi cap to obtain the support of Sindh masses but when there is
flood or there is violence in Karachi president is used be in France or
in Islamabad like Neru.
He said that the rangers and police should be given free hand and
should be brought out of the control of Rehman Malik so that these
forces could take action against the target killers.
He said that all parties parliamentary committee could be formed for the monitoring of the police and rangers action. SANA
