PESCO negligence: Women, two children died

A woman and two children have been died when main power line fell on them in a Peshawar area.

After the incident, people gathered at the site and started staging a protest against the PESCO, they raised slogans against the negligence of the administration and vented out their anger by damaging a vehicle of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) that had arrived there for repair works after hours-long delay.

An eye witness told that the main transmission line has fallen at the time of Sehri, and the PESCO office, which is only yards away, was informed of it, but no one showed up to fix the line until the tragic incident.
The hapless woman and two children were passing by when electrocuted. The negligence PESCO authorities has neither fixed the line nor bothered to cut off power supply to avert a mishap.  SANA
