KARACHI: The president of PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said
that Karachi crisis was of a purely political nature, hence only
politicians should resolve it.
Private TV channel reports that
addressing an Iftar dinner party hosted by PML-Q’s Chaudhry Riaz
Ghumman, he strongly discounted any role of Army, police and /or
Rangers in straightening out the Karachi crisis, and stressed on
holding a long table conference as opposed to Round Table Conference.
He also stressed on a strong consensus by political parties until the final and definite solution of the crisis was resolved.
In
his talk with the private TV channel he also informed that a
seat-to-seat adjustment with PPPP, for forthcoming elections was also
underway, and while replying to a question, he also stressed that any
further new provinces in Country should be strictly administratively
based, and not on linguistic or ethnic basis.
