Cross-border attacks can damage relation: PM Gilani

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the possibility of foreign elements involved in the situation in Karachi and Balochistan can not be ignored.

Talking to the media in Lahore on Sunday, the prime minister said that the Afghan government has been informed about the cross border attack. He said that such attacks can severely damage relations and trust between the neighbouring countries.
Gilani said that the terrorism in Pakistan is a result of the Afghan war, adding that the security agencies were fulfilling their responsibilities well.
While talking about the abduction of Shahbaz Taseer, Gilani said that he will be visiting the Taseer family and will help the provincial government in securing Taseer’s release. SANA
