Annulment of commisionerate system ANP to meet over Sindh issue today

ISLAMABAD: Over the issue of annulment commisionerate system in Karachi and Hyderabad, Awami National Party (ANP) leadership has called in meeting of parliamentary party Monday (today) in the parliament house.

ANP Information Secretary Zahid Khan told Online on Sunday that ANP Senior Vice President and MNA Bushara Gohar called in the meeting as reversing the administrative system in only two locations simply means division of the Sindh province.
“The step simply means that Karachi and Hyderabad was given as a province to MQM,” he said.
He said that his party was not taken into confidence over the decision. “Sindh chapter of ANP has reservations regarding the decision and the meeting would consider the decision,” he added.
He said that introduction of the system caused killing many people but now it was annulled and that in only two division.
It is pertinent to mention that MQM had expressed its concerns when the PPP-led government decided to establish commisionerate system in the province. MQM had quit the ruling coalition a couple of days ago. But PPP was trying to get them agree and hence had to accept their demands including annulment of the order regarding revival of the commisionerate system. MQM and PPP held successful talks. But another ally of the ruling coalition, ANP, still has reservation over the deal of the other two parties. Online
