Veil ban in France violation of women rights

Karachi : The restriction on wearing Hijab for Muslim women in France has exposed the self-prophesied champions of human rights. The double standards of West about human rights and their open bias against Muslims is no more a secret, said Asadullah Bhutto Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh chapter.

He said that the decision of French government was discriminatory against Muslims. He said it is not secularism to stop people from their religious and cultural practices.
The so-called champions of human rights, equality and secularism are desecrating the Quran, disrespecting the rights of Hijab of Muslim women and hounding Muslim communities in the Western countries. He said all these dirty tactics are aimed at halt the rapid spread of Islam in the Western countries.
He said Hijab is the right of Muslim women in which they feel easy and comfortable. Islam gives dignity to women; that is why the majority of those embracing Islam in the Western countries are women, he noted.
