Karachi : Justice (rtd) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim urged people to use their right to vote carefully in next general elections to bring a positive change in the country. The destiny of nations is in hands of people who must make use of the ballot accordingly, he said while speaking at ceremony hosted by Aitemaad Pakistan Trust to honor volunteers who worked during devastating floods last year to rehabilitate victims in various parts of Sindh province.
"I am very optimistic about future of Pakistan. There is nothing to worry about as country had a very good time ahead. The spirit I saw among volunteers who worked relentlessly during floods under banner of this Trust, in fact, kindled this ray of new hope." He said he was convinced that real happiness for a man was to live for others and not himself. Pleasure of working for mankind could not be measured in any terms --- in fact it is divine.
Yunus Dhaga Trustee of Trust said it was launched during holy month of Ramzan and in short time made its presence felt in rural areas of Sindh due to volunteers who worked day and night providing relief to flood victims. Justice (rtd) Fakhruddin gave shields, certificates to volunteers.
