Shahbaz Sharif for rejecting aid under Kerry-Lugar Bil

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said the key to the problem of drone attacks that result in the deaths of innocent Pakistanis is abandoning assistance received under the Kerry-Lugar Bill as well as the terms and conditions imposed under the Bill. He said that condemnatory resolutions and protest statements would not lead to any solutions.

He said this in an address to the PML-N workers in Lahore on Friday. Shahbaz said that drone attacks posed the most serious challenge to the country, but that the problem could be tackled if the government, instead of merely issuing statements, abandoned assistance received under the KL Bill.
