ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday again made it clear that drone attacks are severely denting Pak-US relations urging it is creating hurdles in war against terrorism.
President Zardari expressed these views while talking to US Ambassador Cameron Munter in which host of issues like Pak-US relations, war against terrorism, strategic dialogue process and prevailing economic situation in the country was discussed in length.
According to sources, President Asif Ali Zardari called for removing mistrust between the people of Pakistan and the United States, saying it is the time for the two countries to take stock of the existing situation and focus on addressing all those issues which contribute towards creating misunderstandings and mistrust between both the nations.
President said the nation had been paying a heavy price in the war against terrorism both in terms of human and material losses. Online
