RAWALPINDI: Civil Judge Muhammad Akram acquitted PPP leader Raja
Pervez Ashraf and former political secretary to Benazir Bhutto, Naheed
Khan and issued perpetual arrest warrants of AJK PPP leader Shahzadi
Kausar Gilani in Rawalpindi High Court violence case.
Announcing
the verdict the civil judge exonerated Pervez Ashraf and Naheed Khan
who were charged with indulging in violence and throwing ink on NAB
Prosecutor during the hearing of NAB reference against Benazir Bhutto in
1998.
The court had declared Shahzada Kausar Gilani as
proclaimed offender due to her absence from the court. Shabbir Awan,
clerk of Babar Awan, had already been acquitted by the court in the
