Islamabad: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Miss Qurat-ul-Ain has prohibited
the construction of mud houses and transportation of construction
material within the limits of sub-sectors G-14/1, 2 and 3 and G-15/3,
Islamabad.
Under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 this ban has been imposed for two months with immediate effect.
The
order issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate says that the land of
villages falling in the sub-sectors G-14/1, 2, 3 and G-15/3, Islamabad,
has been acquired for the development of housing scheme of Federal
Government Employees Housing Foundation.
It has come to her
knowledge that some peoples are constructing houses in the said
sub-sectors for the sake of improvement and to enhance compensation of
built up property which is against the law.
Therefore, there are
sufficient grounds to proceed under section 144 of Cr.P.C 1898 and to
prevent the construction for the safety of the general public property.
