PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Communications Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan
Khalil made an extensive tour of his home constituency and reviewed
ongoing development projects.
During the tour, the minister was
enthusiastically received by hundreds of recently regularised daily
wages and contract employees of NHA as when he reached NHA regional
office.
The regularised employees showered rose petals on him
and expressed their profound gratitude, not only to the Federal Minister
but also to the government of PPP.
The minister also visited
the under-construction Karkhano Road and urged the contractors to
complete the project in time so that the people may be saved from
trouble that they currently have.
He also visited PDA offices
Peshawar to get an update on ongoing development projects in the area.
The Federal Minister also visited Hayat Shaheed Teaching Hospital and
visited various patients, especially those from his constituency, and
enquired about their health.
Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan said that he
considers politics as a sacred duty and makes his utmost efforts to
improve the lives of the people of his constituency and of the whole
province as well. The Federal Minister said that under his
instructions, development projects have been launched throughout the
province and the country without any discrimination and international
standards will be ensured in all these projects.
The Federal
Minister, on this occasion, also received numerous applications from the
people and even gave immediate, telephonic instructions to concerned
officials so that their grievances can be removed promptly. His
residence remained packed with people throughout the day who had come to
