Cases against 14 shopkeepers registered

MARDAN: Local police has registered case against 14 shopkeepers by giving threats to traffic police and local police, said police sources.

Sources said that a motorcar No 4760 was standing in the middle of the road in front of Rahman medical centre in Malakand Chowk.
A traffic officer named Wilayat Shah along with lifter came to the spot and pulled up the car in the lifter and stood it by the side and fined the car owner during that time a person named Shier Ali who is owner of Rehman medical centre came to the spot and started quarrelling with the traffic official.
Sources further said that during that time the mentioned person also called the other shopkeepers and the shopkeepers came to the spot and started quarreling with police and blocked Malakand Chowk for all kind of traffic. Letter on the shopkeeper dispersed peacefully.
However local police has registered first information report (FIR) under section 506,341,186,189,148 and 149 against 14 shop owners including Shoaib TV mechanic, Rizwan Karakari House, Sufi Shah Nazar Medical Store, Javeed General Store, Hazrat Islam General Store, Parveez Karakari Store, Dawa Khan Stabilizers sealers, Rahman Medical Center, Iqrar weapon dealer, Ismil Chapel Shop, Adnan Guest House, Ali Rehman optics Sahibzada Medical Store and Naz Medical Store.
