Islamabad: Chairman Al-Khidmat Foundation and Ameer Jamat-e-Islami
Islamabad Mian Asalm said that Al-Khidmat Foundation has distributed
2,5000 kg meat worth of Rs 0.6 million among destitutes in both
constituencies of the federal capital.
Addressing a press
conference here on Friday at Party Secretariat Mian Aslam said that
Al-khidmat foundation has established fifty two centers of collective
sacrifice at 34 places in capital where meat was distributed among
destitute.
He said that this year people showed their trust over
Al-khidmat foundation and donated 4000 sacrificial hides in different
campuses of the foundation.
He said that in addition to the last
year, this year 30 percent more sacrificial hides were donated by the
citizens of the capital. He told that the amount which would be
generated through these sacrificial hides would be spent on needy people
to provide them basic life commodities.
He said that in order
to express solidarity with the flood affectees of the Sindh Al-khidmat
foundation has given financial aid to them and sent Rs 2268000 to
purchase sacrificial animals.
He said that Rs 3600000 and a truck of relief goods were also sent to the affected areas.
Mian Aslam told that during these campaign more than five hundred workers of Al-khidmat foundation participated.
Mian
Aslam further added that all this has been possible with the
cooperation by the citizens of the federal capital and in future
Al-Khidmat Foundation would continue such services. Online
