KARACHI: Former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza has warned that
if any of the politicians dared to unleash tirade against him, just to
please their party leaders, he would expose them to masses.
In
an interview granted to a private TV channel, he said that during his
recent videoconference, Zulfiqar Mirza resembled current Sindh home
minister Manzoor Wasan, and both seemed as twin brothers in their
contents, gestures and body language.
Replying to a question,
he also warned anyone against taking his warnings lightly, and also
accused Manzoor Wasan and other politicians of victimizing masses, and
while citing his untarnished tenure, vowed to alleviate grievances
inflicted on masses at any given opportunity.
He also termed
Provincial senior minister Agha Siraj Durrani as his best friend and
mentor, following nearest and dearest President Asif Ali Zardari, but
expressed his distraught feelings over, what he perceived was recently
witnessed unwonted and repressive attitude of Durrani.
He said
that after the recent exposure of vulgar and irresponsible demeanor and
attitude of Altaf Hussain, in his videoconference, masses had become
more aware of the fact that he was not exactly the patriot they had
deemed, and what Altaf Hussain styled himself as.
Rejecting the
notion of finding Governor Sindh as un-photogenic, Mirza nevertheless
termed Ishrat-ul-Abad as one of fewer politicians who were adept in
misguiding Rangers, creating a plethora of fresh problems in Sindh,
releasing potentially compulsive target killers, and as one of major
land mafia members of Province.
He also said that he was
willing to present living proof of his allegations to CJP. Zulfiqar
Mirza also labeled CPLC, Ahmad Chinoy as the biggest tout of MQM,
responsible for collecting extortion money from Karachi’s, business
community of cart vendors, and depositing that extortion money to
outside pipeline (foreign deliveries).
Mirza also scoffed at
CPLC chief as more of a thief than wrongly titled as chairman, and said
that if CM Qaim Ali Shah was ever indicted /imprisoned, it would be
over his failures to oblige deserving masses. Online
