Imran demands probe into Altaf, Zulfiqar charges on each other

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Sunday accused that every political party possessed its arm wing in Karachi which was the main hurdle to establish peace in the city.

Addressing a press conference at here, the cricketer-turned-politician said that political parties doing their politics on base of language. Commenting on Altaf Hussain allegations against the anti-country elements, Imran Khan said Rehman Malik and President Zardari were the two sides of a same coin.
He demanded that charges of Zulfiqar Mirza against Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Federal Interior Minster Rehman Malik should be investigated and the apex court should take notice on such severe allegations.
Khan said his party was standing behind free media and MQM and Mirza’s revelation should not be overlooked.
Khan requested the chief justice of Pakistan to conduct a detailed inquiry to ascertain the veracity of Mirza and Altaf’s allegations. He said his party demanded Malik’s resignation from ministry and Senate as he was facing serious allegations. Online
