ISLAMABAD: PPP, MNA, Yasmin Rehman has said she has given no remarks
that she and all other members of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will
quit if Chaudhry Nisar resigns from chairmanship of committee.
Talking
to Online she said Thursday PAC members from PPP had noting to do with
Chaudhry Nisar’s resignation and party leadership would decide about
future of its members if Chaudhry Nisar resigns. “We will be bound to
accept whatever decision is taken by party leadership as per party
discipline”, she remarked.
”I have no authority to take any
decision to resign from membership of PAC”, she underlined. PPP was
pursuing the policy of reconciliation and it was continuing with this
policy under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime
Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. All the matters related to PAC would
soon be resolved, she hoped.
It may be recalled that PPP is
being represented in PAC by Qamar Zaman Kaira, Rana Farooq Saeed,
Yasmin Rehman, Nadim Afzal Chan, Noor Alam and Rukhshana Bangash. Online
