New York: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and her Saudi
counterpart Prince Saud Al Faisal have held talks to further
strengthening of Pak-Saudi relations.
The meeting which took
place in New York on the sidelines of UN General Assembly session,
focused on reviewing the bilateral relations in the light of recent
visits of President Asif Ali Zaradri and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza
Gilani.
Both the leaders also discussed regional situation
including Afghanistan and regional security besides others issues of
bilateral interest.
The Foreign Minister briefed her Saudi
counterpart regarding devastations of recent rains and floods in Sindh
province besides government’s efforts for relief and rehabilitation of
the affectees.
