Chaudhry Nisar to be persuaded to withdraw resignation

ISLAMABAD: All members of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will meet Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, chairman PAC within a few days to request him to withdraw his resignation from chairmanship of the Committee.

All the members of PAC had consensus that recovery of Rs 167 billion on account of financial irregularities in government bodies and departments had been made possible only due to efforts by Chaudhry Nisar.
PAC senior member Saeed Ahmad Zafar told Online Thursday all the members of committee had unanimously decided that they would pursue Ch Nisar to withdraw his resignation and continue to work as chairman of PAC. All the members fully trust on the leadership of Ch Nisar as he is honest man beyond any suspicion. The way committee had worked under him and recovered so much huge amount was matchless job.
Responding to a question he said they would put up demands of Ch Nisar before speaker and government and they hoped matters would be resolved amicably. Online
