KARACHI: Police, during operation have arrested five target killers
from different areas of the city and recovered arms and ammunition from
their custody.
According to the details , police besieged Pak
Colony and arrested an alleged target killer Majid allies Kallu and
recovered a TT pistol and rounds. Police said that he was wanted in
several kidnappings for ransom. During interrogation he confessed of
two murders too.
Police also apprehended another target killer
Muhammad Ali allies Khapi from New Karachi and recovered three
Kalashinkov riffles and large quantity of rounds form him . SSP told
the newsman that Khapi confessed that he had gunned down five persons.
Similarly two target killers were arrested including a proclaimed
offender Rashid Baluch from the vicinity of Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan and
also recovered arms and ammunitions. Baluch’s group was involved in 23
cases of kidnapping for ransom and murder.
Special
Investigation Unit conducted a raid at Lines Area and arrested a target
killer Shahroze. Police also retrieved a concealed dead body on his
indication from a house at sector 5/B North Karachi. Later the body was
identified as Iftikhar who was kidnapped and then chopped by culprits
with a sharp edged instrument.
Target killer Shahroze also made
confession regarding beheading five another people. He told the police
that the Iftikhar sought protection money from him on which he called
the deceased and kidnapped him. The police is making effort to hold his
