Disregard for law and Constitution caused all ills: Nawaz Sharif


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif ha said that all of Pakistan’s problems have been caused by violation of law and Constitution.  
On eve of Independence Day, talking to media, Nawaz said all must work together to change the current face of Pakistan and show the world the real side. He said the national pins great hopes on the youth.   He congratulated the nation of the 65th Independence Day, saying August 14 would be a day to have a new resolution to make the country a true republic. He said the youth could play a significant role in getting to the destiny of the nation.   The PML-N chief lamented that violation of the law and the Constitution has brought the country to the current state of affairs. He wished an early end to terrorism and prayed for restoration of peace. He underlined that all would have to work together to get the country the place it deserves among the comity of nations.
He thanked the Indian role for making Pakistan an atomic power, adding that he was writing a new chapter of Pak-India friendship in 1999 and did not know that General Pervez Musharraf was also writing a separate story.
The two-time premier said that both countries could not realize this reality even after conducting nuke tests all bilateral issues would be resolved through talks. The Indian visitors also stressed the need to build Pak-India friendship to resolve the issues being faced by the people of two countries. Online
