Sindh Home Department has lifted the ban on pillion riding in the city; meanwhile the notification of lifting ban has also been issued here on Friday.
This was decided in a meeting presided over by Sindh Home Minister
Manzoor Wasan where Interior Additional Chief Secretary Waseem Ahmed,
Sindh IG Police Wajid Ali Durrani, Advisor to Home Ministry Sharfuddin
Memon and other officials were also present.
The ban was imposed on July 6 due to the critical condition in
different areas of the city, in which more than 100 persons were killed
in five days. SANA
