Ambassador
of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer called on
President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday. Minister
for Interior Rehman Malik was also present during the meeting.Matters
relating to Pak-Saudi bilateral relations and regional situation were
discussed during the meeting.While discussing the Pak-Saudi relations,
the President said that Pakistan highly values its close and cordial
bilateral cooperation with the brotherly Muslim country Saudi Arabia
and desires to further strengthen political, economic, trade and
commercial ties between the two countries.
The President appreciated Saudi Arabia’s assistance to the government and people of Pakistan in times of need.
Discussing the regional situation with reference to Middle East, the President reiterated Pakistan’s principled stance that it favours political stability and non-interference in internal affairs of the countries by outside elements. APP
