Shahbaz Sharif calls Karachi Pakistan’s ‘jhoomer’, prays for peace

Punjab Chief Minister, Mina Shahbaz Sharif said that whether he remains in power or not, the people would catch hold of those attempting to abandon the welfare projects and added, “Karachi is the gateway to Pakistan and a ‘jhoomer’ of its forehead, he and the whole nation prays for peace over there.”

Punjab chief minister was talking to media on the sidelines of a ceremony for the inking on a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese company relating to Lahore mass transit train project.
Shahbaz Sharif said that mass transit project costing $1.7 billion would be completed in four years and its soft opening would be held on August 14.
Shahbaz Sharif also went to inspect the under construction Kalma Chowk Flyover. It is on this occasion Punjab CM said, “Karachi is a gateway to Pakistan, the nation’s welfare hinges on it.”
He said that it is the prayer and desire of the whole nation that the violence should end in Karachi and activities should return in the city of lights.
He all the people of country would pray for the peace of the city after the Juma prayers, adding that killings of innocent persons should be ended, as it is the bad sign on the head of the country the whole nation is praying for the ending of killings of innocents. SANA
