MQM may direct its workers not to give taxes to Sindh government

Islamabad: MQM has started thinking over various options including not submitting the taxes to provincial government in the circumstances created after the controversial statement from senior minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza.

A senior leader of MQM holds the government responsible for deteriorating law and order in Karachi and Rabita Committee is considering all the options including asking Altaf Hussain to instruct the workers for stop giving revenues to the provincial government, resulting the provincial government would tangle in the economic crises and it would be difficult for the Sindh government to run the affairs smoothly and leaving no other way for the government.
He indicated that many top secrets of the government might also be disclosed . He said that the commissionerate system was restored in only Karachi and Hyderabad only , why it was not implemented in other parts of Sindh.
The leader of MQM said that President Asif Zardari and Zulfiqar Mirza are the close friends and it is not possible that such irresponsible statement could not come to surface without the consent of elders. The apology from Rehman Malik does not make any difference. If PPP want to do something in this regard, then it has to take action against Zulfiqar Mirza.
In this regard when contacted, Deputy Parliamentary Leader of MQM in National Assembly Haider Abbas Rizvi he said that nobody could put MQM towards wall. “PML(N) and JUI(F) also left the government but no revengeful action was taken against them, but as we departed from the government , actions have been started against MQM”.
He said that the workers of MQM were shifted from Karachi jails to the prisons of interior Sindh and the party is reviewing all this.
Rizvi said that now government cannot get passed any bill from the parliament. MQM is the supporter of reconciliation but what the government is doing, is not the reconciliation at all. Online
