Reconciliation will continue, Shujaat Hussain, PM Gilani agree

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday said that the Government would continue to develop political reconciliation on all national issues.

The Prime Minister was talking to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, President of PML (Q) who called on him here at the Prime Minister’s House on Monday evening.
The Prime Minister said that the passage of the recent Budget reflected confidence of the representatives of the people in the economic policies of the Government.
The economic reforms introduced, he added, brought about economic stability leading to political stability of the Government.
The Government, he said, would share its future course of socio-economic policies with its coalition partners and would procure their inputs to improve upon the same.
The third phase of devolution under the 18th amendment, he mentioned, would be completed till 30th June for which special Cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow to work out the details.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain congratulated the Prime Minister on success in Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections and assured his party’s complete support in future political and economic policies. Online
