Faisl Raza Abidi to become governor Sindh if MQM withdraws support of PPP

In the result of the possible parting ways of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) with Pakistan people’s Party from federal and Sindh governments, the PPP has decided to appoint Political Secretary of President Asif Ali Zardari, Senator Faisal Raza Abidi as new governor Sindh by removing Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan.

According to private TV channel sources, the responsible persons of the PPP informed that the government is not in mood of further reconciliation with MQM after the MQM Chief Altaf Hussain address of Sunday, in which he severely criticized President Zardari and government, holding responsible for postponement of elections of refugee seats of Karachi.
According to the sources in the result of withdrawal of MQM from federal and Sindh governments, Faisal Raza Abidi would be appointed as governor Sindh; meanwhile changes in Sindh government would be made at large scale.
According to the sources MQM would be allowed to play role of opposition; instead of continuing reconciliation with it after the hard statement of Altaf Hussain. SANA
