ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has appreciated the role of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ejaz Butt by settling issue between PCB and former Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Shahid Khan Afridi.
Talking to Journalists here outside the Parliament House on Thursday, Rehman Malik maintained that Shahid Afridi is our national hero, who services for country cannot be forgotten.
It is worth mentioning here that Rehman Malik intervened under the directions of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Gilani between PCB and Afridi to settle down their dispute. In a meeting, he requested to the Chairman PCB to demonstrate with whole-heartedly to resolve this issue.
