MULTAN:
At least three police personnel have been martyred and several others
injured in a suicide blast that took place on the Gaddafi police
check-post.
The police check post is situated on Khaniwal road where judicial complex and other offices are also there.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after the attack and security forces cordoned off the area.
The bodies of policemen are being shifted to hospital for post mortem. Injured are also being taken Nishtar Hospital for treatment.
According to the initial reports, suicide bomber was on the motorcycle. Eyewitnesses told the media that the suicide bomber, a motorcyclist, came to police personnel and wanted water. He blew himself up soon asking for water, eyewitnesses said. Samaa TV
