Muttahida Qaumi Movement for referendum on new provinces’ issue

Karachi : Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has repeatedly said that a referendum should be held on the issue of creating new provinces and demands be met as per the aspirations of people,
said MQM Rabita Committee member Qasim Ali Raza, talking to some TV channels here Sunday.  He said MQM believes in unity of Sindh and it would not accept the division of ‘Sindh Dharti’. He saidthere is no demand from the people of Sindh and Karachi for any new province; however, in Punjab thereare demands for Hazara and Seraiki provinces. He said the MQM believes in the unity of Sindh and does not want its distribution, adding ‘our life and death is linked to Sindh Dharti. PPI
