LAHORE: JUI Amir Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said that the return of the JUI in the present setup is impossible, adding the country was facing several crisis and the rulers have no solution of the issues.
Maulana Fazalur Rehman stated this during his telephonic chat with spokesperson of the JUI-F Maulana Muhammad Amjad Khan.
According to press release issued on Sunday, Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the drone attacks increased due to wrong policies of the government and termed the strikes as attacks against country’s integrity.
The drone attacks are the violation of international principles, the issuing of statements against the drone attacks is not enough but the strong protest should be lodged to the United States in this regard, he added.
The JUI Amir questioned, why the champions of human rights remained silent over the killing of innocent people.
He said that the JUI would play real role of the opposition in the parliament, adding that the party in contact with all other political parties to steer country out from the crisis. He suggested that the foreign and internal policies should be formulated in the interest of the country.
He urged the government to give up polices of previous government and adopt polices for the welfare of the masses and country.
He said that the JUI in favour of immediate withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan added that they against the presence of foreign forces in Afghanistan.
Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that they demanded of the NATO to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and noted that the JUI always against any country interference in the internal affairs of other country.
