Mirpur Bhutto, Sindh : Chairman, Sindh National Front, Mumtaz Bhutto has demanded freshgeneral elections in the country under a non-political caretaker setup and through genuine voters’ list so that the country engulfed by crisis could be brought back to track.
Talking to visitors at his residence in hometown on Monday, he contended that the present national andprovincial assemblies were not representative and in fact unconstitutional bodies as the National Database & Registration Authority and Election Commission have clearly stated that the half the votersenlisted in electoral lists, used for last general elections, were fake. Moreover, a large number of assembly members too have fake educational degrees, he added. SNF chief said the legislature- one of the pillars of state, is damaged while the judiciary, the otherpillar, is not in position to dispense justice to the people.
