Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday told the
cabinet that President Asif Ali Zardari was in stable condition.
He
was presiding over the cabinet meeting in Islamabad. Gilani briefed the
cabinet about president’s health as rumours of silent coup swirl across
country after he left for Dubai.
Gilani told the cabinet
members that he had conservation with the President Wednesday night. He
said that the president was not ready to go Dubai for medical treatment
but after consultation he was persuaded to do so.
Gilani said that different tests on the president had been performed in Dubai and he was recovering fast. Online
