Dilapidated footpath at Margala Road annoys residents

ISLAMABAD: The footpath at F-7/4 Margalla road is in dilapidated condition since last few years and causing inconvenience for the people.

The footpath leading towards Margalla College F-7/4 has broken and creating problems and agitation specially for students going to Margalla College.
The footpath is situated in diplomatic enclave where foreign embassies are situated, while the foreigners use the footpath for walk and jogging purpose but fractured footpath is causing inconvenience for them. The footpath had been reconstructed several times but due to use of sub-standard material it break again and again.
Farah student of Margalla College F-7/4 said that she has been using the way for last two years, the footpath always found in broken condition while the scattered bricks and sand cause inconvenience for them. She added that the broken footpath gives clumsy and embarrassing look to the diplomatic enclave.
The people have demanded of the administration to reconstruct the footpath on priority base and ensure use of standard material. Online
