PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) has called applications from
its members for the Senate seat that was vacated due to resignation of
JUI (F) senator Azam Sawati as well as for the senate elections which
would be held in the first quarter of 2012.
It is very much expected that ANP might win the seat of Azam Sawati as it has majority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.
The
desirous candidates would submit their applications in the central
secretariat, Bacha Markaz from Friday 9 December (today) after receiving
the applications form the members; the leadership of the party would
finalize its candidates for the senate elections. Online
