Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker National Assembly has constituted a Special
Committee to “Oversee the Implementation of Resolution of APC etc”.
Notification to this effect has been issued by the National Assembly
Secretariat on Friday.
The Speaker has constituted the Special Committee in pursuance of the
motion moved under Rule 244(B) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of
Business in the National Assembly 2007 and unanimously adopted by the
House on 18th October, 2011.
The Special Committee has been mandated to oversee the implementation
of earlier resolutions as well as joint resolution passed in the All
Parties Conference (APC) of the leaders of the political parties at the
Prime Minister’s House, Islamabad on 29th September, 2011 and to make
public, the progress on the same on monthly basis.
The Committee will comprise of MNAs Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Ms. Sherry
Rehman, Dr. Ayatullah Durrani, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Sardar Mehtab
Ahmad Khan, Dr. Attiya Inayatullah, Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi, Ms. Bushra
Gohar, Mr. Atta-ur-Rehman, Haji Khuda Bux Rajar and Mr. Munir Khan
