Dr Guido Westerwelle, German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs called on Chief
of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General
Headquarters on Friday and discussed Afghan and other issues of mutual
interest.
The visiting dignitary remained with the COAS for some time and
discussed matters of mutual interest with focus on upcoming Bonn
conference and peace process in Afghanistan.
The Minister was accompanied by German Ambassador to Pakistan, His
Excellency Dr Michael Koch and Special Representative for Afghanistan
and Pakistan, His Excellency Michael Steiner. SANA
