The nurses were assured that their problems would be resolved soon and according to the Rana Sanaullah no legal action would be taken against them.
The nurses protested for increase in salaries for three days across Punjab and staged sit-ins on the roads.. It is decided that the committee will submit its report in 30 days.

After long negotiations, a sub-committee was formed on special pay package and promotion regularization. The sub-committee will submit its report within a week. The law minister also ordered to struck down cases against nurses and directed secretary health for not taking any action against nurses for staging protest.

However, a group of nurses refused to accept decision and vowed to continue protest till the issuance of notification in this connection.
