The moon for the Islamic month of Muharram-ul-Haram has been sighted in various parts of the country here on Saturday.
The first day of the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram would fall today (Sunday) while Ashura would be observed on December 6.
This was announced by Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan
Chairman Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, after chairing a meeting of the
committee, held at the Met Office here in Islamabad.
