Anti Terrorist Court has accepted the bail plea of MQM-Haqiqi Chairman Afaq Ahmad in the kidnapping case of Jamil Baloch on deposit of five lac surety bonds and ordered his release.
It is worth mentioning here that is was the last case against Afaq
Ahmad as he had been granted bail or had already been acquitted from all
other cases.
According to the petitioners, Jamil Baloch was called in Baitul Hamra
and he had kidnapped for ransom and initially leader of MQM Younus Khan
and workers were involved in the case but the court acquitted them.
Anti Terrorism Court in Karachi has accepted the bail plea of leader
MQM Afaq Ahmad in kidnapping and violence case and ordered his release.
Judge Khalida Yasmin of Anti Terrorism Court conducted the hearing of
Afaq Ahmad case here on Saturday and ordered his release. Afaq Ahmad
was charged of kidnapping Jamil Baloch from Korangi.
The kidnapping case was filed with Korangi Police Station against MQM Leader Afaq Ahmad. SANA
