Tennis star Haq to help NDMA in fundraising for affectees

ISLAMABAD: Tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq has joined hand with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for fund raising to assist relief activities in flood hit areas of Sindh.

A spokesman of NDMA informed on Saturday that Haq would organize tennis matches to collect money for help of the affectees.
He said that Haq and NDMA chairman Dr. Zafar Qadir will hold a detailed press conference in this connection next week.
The Spokesman also said that the player had already collected some items for auctions like shirts, cap and shoes of famous international tennis player that could help fundraising.
Meanwhile, Sources in Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTA) said that the famous tennis players had already collected racket and shoes of Roger Federer, and that of Andy Murray, Shirt of Novak Djokovic, shoes of Caroline Wozniaka, tennis shirt of Anna Ivanovic, shirt of Huber, hair cap of Azarenka, headband of Kuznet Sova.
