LAHORE: PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif has said intensity of
Dengue fever will start scaling down from October and it will stand
fully eliminated by December.
He said this while talking to media here Saturday after inquiring about the health of Dengue patients in Jinnah Hospital.
He
told about 9000 Dengue fever patients come to Jinnah hospital and
doctors and paramedical staff are working day and night to provide
treatment to them.
Chief Minster Shahbaz Sharif and his
government were fighting a war to defeat Dengue epidemics. Spirit is
good and surely Dengue will vanish.
He urged private hospitals
to charge fees to Dengue patients at affordable level and not to
indulge in profiteering. Serve the humanity at this critical juncture
of time, he exhorted. 90 percent people who come to hospital are tested
negative, he told.
“I have not played politics with Sindh flood issue and the quantum of disaster is beyond our comprehension”, he underlined.
Responding
