Rehman Malik asks extortionists to release six kidnapped persons in 24 hours or face action

Interior Minster Rehman Malik said that 18 mission persons reached their homes, adding that six more persons are still missing a warn the extortionists to release them in 24 hours otherwise strict action would be taken against them, adding that political parties should throw out assailants from their parties.

This he said while talking to a private TV channel, adding that enough is enough now strong action would be taken against the extortionists.
He said the government would not disappoint the citizens of Karachi, adding that the government would take every necessary action to restore the peace of Karachi.
He said that extortionists are involved in the current incidents of violence in Karachi, adding that a task force was setup in the supervision of Additional IG Police to take action against these extortionists.
He said that two to three groups of extortionists are involved in the fresh wave of violence in Karachi, adding that the task deals with the extortionists and would take necessary action against them.
He said targeted action would be conducted to restore the peace in Karachi, adding that patrolling of force has been increased in the affected areas.
Rehman Malik said that the Prime Minister ensured every possible help to restore peace in Karachi, meanwhile a high level meeting in Awan-e-Sadder Islamabad decided that ranger and police jointly conduct the operations in affected areas, adding that if the needed extra forces then use coastal guards and other forces.
Rehman Malik said that the people would see action being taken place in next three to four days in the city. SANA
