President Asif Ali Zardari formed a three-member committee consisting of Governor Sindh
Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and provincial
Interior Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan to solve the Karachi problem
on political and administrative bases.
The committee will meet today (Saturday) with the leaders of the
Muttahida Qaumi Movement in Karachi; meanwhile the rejoining of MQM in
the government is also expected in next two to three days.
According to the sources after the high level meeting chaired by
President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadar has decided to set up
three member committee to solve the issue of Karachi on permanent bases. SANA
