ISLAMABAD: Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Wassan has said there is no
need to call in army in Karachi yet as the result of administrative
arrangements will come before us within two days.
Manzoor
Wassan said this while talking to media men here Friday. He vowed that
Karachi would be deweaponized at every cost. Piles of arms were there
in Karachi, he added.
All the parties wanted peace in Karachi,
he maintained. Workers of every party are present in Karachi and all
political parties have their vote banks therein, he added.
The
recent series of bloody incidents started from August, 17 in Karachi
when 4 to 5 people of a community were killed and on the second day 15
to 20 persons were killed in the same manner. It was regrettable, he
added. “We took stern action over it and some people were held. They
are being investigated|”, he underlined. Online
